About the event

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) affects 45 million Americans (April is IBS Awareness Month); it's also a tricky condition–hard to diagnose, miserable to live with. With the advent of the low FODMAP diet, nutrition is one of the primary treatments--but most people don't know how to connect the dots between our brain and our gut health. Enter a presentation by Dr. Megan Riehl, a gut-health expert who was born and raised in St. Clair County. She currently resides in Dexter, Michigan where she has a full-time clinical practice at the University of Michigan Health.

This program, based on the groundbreaking book Mind Your Gut: The Science-based, Whole-body Guide to Living Well with IBS by Dr. Megan Riehl and Kate Scarlata, MPH, RDN, will empower attendees with the latest science and holistic strategies to manage gut health.

  • An engaging discussion on the gut-brain connection and its impact on IBS.

  • Stress management techniques…
